Hi!👋 I’m Suyoung Kwon,

I'm from an industrial design, and I really love to mold my ideas into a tangible product. I always try to understand problems from user's perspective, and I deliver solutions with a flexible combination of searching, wiring, storytelling, and iterations.
I started my design journey in high school by creating a design club called Gurimuro, which means 'because I draw.' Subsequently, I majored in Industrial Design at Kookmin University. As I study various design philosophies such as universal design and sustainable design, I began to think deeply about the social impact and responsibility of design.
I'm currently working as a product manager at Asleep. Previously, I have worked as a graphic designer, product designer, UX designer at Grey Worldwide Korea, Young Toys, Metatrend, and worked with global clients such as Apple, Samsung, and LG. Through these various experiences, I learned more deeply about user, and the impact of each product and service.

🖍 Fun Facts About Me
1. My name is ’Swimming’ in Korean. So one of my email IDs is ’swimkwon**’.
2. I am a huge fan of Harry Potter, and I strongly believe that I am Gryffindor.
3. I've donated my blood more than 15 times so far.
4. I really like freediving. I even have a license!
5. I also have a National Industrial Design Engineer Certificate.
6. I run a group on Facebook 'Unauthorized Photoshop References'.
7. I’m a big big fan of Grey’s Anatomy and I’ve been watching it since I was in middle school.
8. I like taking pictures so I take pictures everywhere. Especially, I like analog film cameras.
9. I love to travel and meet people, so I’ve been to 12 countries.
10. Also, I often travel around Korea when I have time.
11. I like working with my hands such as doodling, knitting, and leather craft.
12. I have been supporting UNICEF for more than 10 years.
13. I also liked snowboarding, but after my tailbone was broken, it's pretty scary.
14. I'm not talented in music because I've been learning the cello for 8 years and still can't.
15. I like to read fairy tales. The story of pure and rich imagination is so interesting.
